Every infrastructure project has to clear environmental compliance before it breaks ground. That work still runs on pen, paper, and billable hours. It is a major blocker for the physical world buildout.
Ama orchestrates agents to complete physical world compliance end-to-end. We work directly with infrastructure leaders (hyperscalers, utilities, banks, federal agencies, etc.) to deliver compliance reports. Our agents do in minutes what typically takes the industry weeks or months.

About the Role
The Agentic Compliance Engineer (ACE) role lies at the heart of Ama. You run and improve our agent harness, hold its output to a professional standard, and own the reports that go to clients.
What You'll Do
• Produce reports end to end: Run our agents on Phase I ESAs and other environmental reports, from records intake to final draft.
• Verify everything: Check agent output against source documents, regulatory databases, and the standard. Catch what the model got wrong.
• Make judgment calls: Interpret site history, regulatory records, and site conditions (e.g. determining groundwater flow direction and what it means for a nearby release).
• Own clients and projects: Manage timelines, scope, and communication on your projects.
• Improve the system: Turn every error you catch into a better system and ship the fix yourself using agentic coding tools. You'll work together with engineering.

Nice to Have
• Environmental consulting experience
• Experience writing environmental reports (Phase I ESA, SWPPP, EIA, etc.)
• Audit, QA, or assurance background
• Scientific research/lab background in Environmental Sciences

Compensation Range: $100K - $120K + performance bonus + equity
