What You'll Do As a Licensed Practical Nurse, you'll play an important role in providing quality care and supporting positive patient outcomes.
Responsibilities include:
- Provide direct patient care and monitor resident conditions
- Administer medications and treatments as ordered
- Monitor vital signs and report changes in condition
- Assist with assessments and care planning
- Document care accurately in electronic medical records
- Collaborate with physicians, RNs, and interdisciplinary care teams
- Provide wound care and nursing procedures within scope of practice
- Educate residents, patients, and families on care plans and treatments
- Promote a safe, compassionate, and patient-centered environment
